I do own MV2 for the pS2 and I remember that there was a way to unlock it to play as three of one character lol
But yeah no way of knowing if that will carry over into MV3
And I agree Dante will be my fav. I did see some E3 footage of Dante rather successfully juggling Deadpool
And from the interview with one of the game developers he talked about how they wished to make
juggling easier for players in this installment. I think there is what he called a launcher button.

Loyal fan of the Vs series since Street Fighter Vs X-men.
I <3 the Marvel Vs Capcom series
Marvel Vs Capcom 2 at the arcade very often at the Lakeland Square Mall(FTW)

I heavily enjoyed the quick paced action and ease of controls of Marvel Vs Capcom 2. Easy to learn hard to master.
Many people have complained about the balance issues of the game which I do agree there were some characters which were OP when compared to others (e.g. Servbot vs Cable).

Growing up with 2-D fighting games I was worried about keeping the quick pace when they made the transition to 3-D but after buying and playing Street Fighter 4.
I realized how a 2-D fighting style can be carried over to 3-D graphics. Loving the character roster so far.When I did play at the arcade making discussion came up about who they would love to see in the next Marvel Vs Capcom game and Dante always came up so I am very happy they added him. One thing that I am glad they added was a storyline to the game because Marvel Vs Capcom had a great storyline to it where as Marvel Vs Capcom 2 the storyline was severely lacking. Overall I can't wait to buy this game.

I <3 counter moves especially aerial counters.

In MvC2 it was often the case that when a player launched your character up into an aerial combo you were unable to perform any moves until the combo was finished.
In MvC3 woot for the Combobreakers.

Based on interviews and the MvC3 website it seems the company as no plans to add any origininal characters e.g.Ruby Heart, Amingo

After playing a round of MvC2 I realized I need work. Granted I was rusty in CvSNK as well as Third Strike, but it shows you where my head has been at for the past couple of years.

Hopefully I'll be able to slide into playing MvC3 without too many problems.

Sorry for posting after my self(feel kinda stupid doing so). But I was watching some videos of reviews of the beta tests for MVC3 and some people sad it feels too much like TVC. I never played Tatsunoko so I can't judge it. They're saying the game is slower then MVC2 which is one of the reason it lasted so long. I like SS4 and SSS4 speed but I do expect MV3 to be faster paced. Do you think that MV3 become a serious fighting game like MVC2 or SSS4 or will become more of a casual fighter like TVC? Because I used to part of MV2 community and I would like a new serious 3D fighter besides street fighter and tekken.

MvC2 was only broken if you played it on a competitive level with competitive players. If you play it for fun, it's a great game and pretty balanced. The only reason those 5 are "good enough to win" is because they could infinite combo the fuck out of your face. But if you're just playing for fun and don't use infinite combos the game works pretty well.

I haven't played TvC, so I don't know what everyone means by "it plays like TvC" because if you ask me, it looks just as fast if not faster than MvC2.
